Objectives:
- To create a community which intercommunicate with other sub-communities and individuals through various activities under the Gaya Hidup Rakan Muda programmes.
- To allow youths to be aware, skilful and dynamic instilled with the “Yakin Boleh Gemilang” spirit.
- To develop positive self-image values such as discipline, respect, loyalty, cooperation, unity and patriotism for the youth.
- To create greater and stronger relationship in implementing activities with the relevant agencies in relations to Gaya Hidup Rakan Muda programmes.
Functions:
Gaya Hidup Development and Implementation Division
- Secretariat to JK3P Rakan Muda Kebangsaan
- Monitor, Implement and Coordinate all the eight Gaya Hidup Programmes.
- Coordination for any special Programmes such as:-
- Remaja Perdana Rakan Muda Awards
- Manage, develop and expand the said Awards programme.
- Monitor the Operations Body and licensing matters.
- To plan all ARPM leadership trainings.
- Personality
- To plan and implement personality input in the Gaya Hidup Rakan Muda programmes.
- Rakan Muda Ramadhan programmes (Kafa and Fardhu Ain)
- To plan all personality development activities through Gaya Hidup Rakan Muda programmes.
- To monitor all implementation of activities and to prepare reports of Personality Unit and Takwim Islam programmes.
- To plan for Islam Hadhari programmes.
- Coordination for Gaya Hidup Activities between Agencies and other relevant parties.
- To coordinate the committee members between all agencies for Phase II of Rakan Muda programmes.
- To coordinate and supervise all allocations received for the programme.
- To manage resources and distribution of allocation between sectors.

Client Charter:
To develop youth by instilling positive values through various activities in Gaya Hidup Rakan Muda programmes; we pledge the following:
- To provide speedy, friendly and transparent services to fulfil the client’s needs.
- To vary activities and programmes to fulfil the need and demands of the target group of Rakan Muda.
- To upgrade the effectiveness of programme implementation for Rakan Muda at all levels.
- To ensure that the implementation of each programmes is executed according to the implementation modules and guidelines to achieve programme objectives.
- To escalate the working collaboration with other agencies, NGOs, corporate bodies and other relevant parties.
- To process assistance application and to inform of the decision within 30 days to the applicants.
- To assess each programme in view of improvement for said programme.
- To provide feedback for any correspondence received from the Division within seven working days.
- To immediately process and complete all Rakan Muda membership cards application done manually. For online application and via correspondence, the processing should take no later than fourteen days.
- To promote and publicise Rakan Muda programmes extensively.
- To instil the highest regard for integrity as a public employee while providing the above services.
