4th ASEAN Youth Dialogue dan 4th ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Interface with ASEAN

YB Hannah Yeoh, Menteri Belia dan Sukan hadir merasmikan 4th ASEAN Youth Dialogue dan 4th ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Interface with ASEAN, berlangsung di Kuala Lumpur.

Program yang bermula pada 22 hingga 28 Mei 2025 bersempena dengan Sidang Kemuncak ASEAN ke-46 ini menghimpunkan lebih 85 orang pemimpin belia dari negara- negara ASEAN dan Timor-Leste, serta wakil-wakil agensi Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) selaku rakan strategik. 

Bertemakan "Youth for a Sustainable Future: Empowering Inclusion and Driving Change in ASEAN", program ini memperkukuh peranan belia sebagai agen perubahan dalam pembangunan mampan dan kelestarian rantau ASEAN.

Sepanjang program, para peserta terlibat secara aktif dalam sesi dialog, bengkel, dan perbincangan dasar yang memberi tumpuan kepada isu-isu utama seperti pendidikan berkualiti, pembangunan ekonomi, inovasi digital, perubahan iklim, kesihatan mental, danketerangkuman sosial.

KBS percaya bahawa penglibatan aktif belia dalam dialog dan proses pembuatan dasar adalah kunci kepada masa depan ASEAN yang inklusif, berdaya tahan, dan mampan. 

Penganjuran program ini juga selaras dengan komitmen Malaysia sebagai Pengerusi ASEAN 2025 untuk memperkasakan belia dan memperkukuh kerjasama serantau.

4th ASEAN Youth Dialogue and 4th ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Interface with ASEAN

YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports, officiated the 4th ASEAN Youth Dialogue and the 4th ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Interface with ASEAN, held in Kuala Lumpur.

The programme, which ran from 22–28 May 2025 in conjunction with the 46th ASEAN Summit, brought together more than 85 youth leaders from ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste, as well as representatives from United Nations agencies as strategic partners.

With the theme “Youth for a Sustainable Future: Empowering Inclusion and Driving Change in ASEAN,” the programme strengthened the role of youth as agents of change in sustainable development and regional resilience.

Throughout the programme, participants actively engaged in dialogues, workshops, and policy discussions focusing on key issues such as quality education, economic development, digital innovation, climate change, mental health, and social inclusion.

KBS believes that the active involvement of youth in dialogue and policy-making processes is crucial to shaping an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for ASEAN.

The organisation of this programme also aligns with Malaysia’s commitment as ASEAN Chair 2025 to empower youth and strengthen regional cooperation.
